Junior Prep Tour

The very popular Southwest PGA Junior Prep Tour has been a breeding ground for top junior golfers for over 36 years.  The tour is a series of one-day tournaments in June and July for boys and girls 18 and under.  There are six (6) separate Districts in Arizona and Southern Nevada with six events in each District.

Drive, Chip & Putt

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.

Firebirds Club

The Firebirds Junior Golf Development Club is open to all juniors ages 3 to 18 who are interested in learning about the wonderful game of golf! Divisions are based on skill level with 1, 3, 6, and two 9-hole divisions available. Come join us and meet new friends, learn the basics of golf, and have fun at the same time!

Junior PGA Championships

A history of showcasing tomorrow’s stars one of golf’s major championships for juniors, the Junior PGA Championship is where the best in the world get their start. Begun in 1976, at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla., the Championship has been a popular stop on the national junior circuit for many of today’s PGA and LPGA touring professionals.

PGA Jr. League

PGA Jr. League is a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 17 & under, to enjoy the game of golf. Like other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends. All skill levels are welcome, and no prior golf experience is required to participate in the program. PGA Jr. League includes two age divisions: 13u and 17u.

We have compiled a list of facilities around the area in the Southwest PGA that are junior-friendly and have a PGA Professional that would love to take on new juniors and families. If you would like more information on what opportunities are available, please contact the facility/PGA Professional directly and they will guide you in the right direction!
